Day 577 - Muckin' Stalls
Horses are okay, I guess, but they are so much work. So much more work than I am ever willing to put towards an animal that I can't use daily. Like a dog. I use my dog for a hand-warmer. He licks my hands when they get cold, and it warms them up. Then I get grossed out. What are horses good for. RIDING? What good is that? I went on a ride for 2 hours the other day and all I had to show for it was a sore ass.
And let me just add that the only thing worse than going to school then coming home and not getting enough sleep is going to school, then coming home to a horse barn, sleeping in a bed that isn't yours (now my neck and back are totally sore), and STILL not getting enough sleep.
Awful.
Sorry about missing yesterday's update. Time seems to move differently in the country.
